November is Native American Heritage Month. Initially recognized as only one day in 1915, recognition was expanded to the entire month of November in 1990 by George H.W. Bush. Native American Heritage Month is a time to celebrate and reflect on the rich history, culture, contributions, and traditions of Native Americans.
