The use of AI continues to expand across healthcare, whether by providing patients with better information and more personalized treatment options, or by helping healthcare providers increase accountability, address safety needs, and improving quality of care. Students in this course explore the relevance of AI tools to healthcare, as well as ethical and responsible use of AI, and how it can be used to transform healthcare documentation and communications. Students leverage their knowledge and skills to complete real-world, career-focused assignments. Upon successful completion of this course, students have the opportunity to obtain a workplace certificate in AI for healthcare.
