CRJS 1015 - Exploring Your Path: Foundations Across Fields

In this interdisciplinary introductory course, students will explore their chosen academic disciplines with a focus on relevant professional skills and dispositions and their potential positive impact on communities and the world. Students will examine their personal and professional strengths, motivations, and compatibility with careers in their chosen fields. They will also conduct primary research, gathering information on the professional experiences of several individuals both in and outside their chosen fields. Finally, students will explore how to create meaning in one’s professional life and how their work might have a positive impact on the world.
