PRCM 6550 - Advanced Practice Care of Adults in Acute Settings II Practicum

This is one of four practicum courses in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care curriculum. Students will apply their knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and physical assessment to the diagnosis and management of adolescents, adults, and older adults with acute/critical illness. The focus of this course is on the development of advanced practice clinical skills under the direct supervision of an approved preceptor in an acute care practice setting. 

Course Sequence Policy: Must be the third PRCM (practicum) course. Cannot be taken concurrently with any other DRNP (didactic) or PRCM (practicum) course, except for the corresponding DRNP (didactic) 6550 course.
