PRCM 6566 - Advanced Practice Care of Adults in Acute Settings I Practicum

This is one of four practicum courses in the Adult-Gerontology curriculum. Students will apply their knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and physical assessment to the diagnosis and management of adolescents, adults, and older adults with acute/critical illness. The focus of this course is on advanced nursing practice in the acute care environment. 

Course Sequence Policy: May be the first or second PRCM (practicum) course. However, if it is the first PRCM (practicum) course, it cannot be taken concurrently or doubled with any other DRNP (didactic) or PRCM (practicum) course, except for DRNP (didactic) 6566.
