BUSI 3019 - Workplace Wellness Workplace Certificate

(5 credits)

Many workplaces promote “wellness” programs, often sponsored through Human Resources, that may include promotion of health-focused behaviors and activities for employees. In this course, students examine the dimensions of employee health and wellness and how HR plays a critical role in the development of those programs as well as the organizational policies and culture that support them. They assume the role of an HR professional and use their skills to meet a series of career-related challenges to promote employee health and wellness. Upon successful completion of this course, students have the opportunity to obtain a certificate in workplace wellness.
