The purpose of this dissertation companion course is to assist education professionals in making steady progress toward completing their degrees. This course is a companion that education professionals use as a forum for ongoing exchange of ideas, input, and feedback between them and the dissertation chair as they complete coursework for their PhD in Education degree and prepare to begin their dissertation. The instructor of record for a section of the companion is the chair of the dissertation committee. Section participants are education professionals working with the faculty mentor at the early stages of their dissertation.
