PSYC 3030 Data Driven Research in the Social Sciences*

5 credits

Students explore the foundational concepts of research methodology and statistical analysis as it applies to the social sciences. Emphasis is placed on critically examining data presentation, analyzing ethical concerns related to research techniques, sampling and data analysis as well as measurement techniques. By the end of the course, students will be able to assess and apply multiple research methods to draw evidence-based conclusions.
