How to Renew or Upgrade Credentials
Renewal: Educators can renew a Continuing License by completing a mentoring program, if required, and completing 90 clock hours of professional development with at least half (45 clock hours) in activities relating to working with students or staff. Educators can review specific requirements through the DEEDS Educator Dashboard online.
Upgrade: Educators can pursue Graduate Level Salary Increments by earning advanced degrees in a course of study clearly related to their professional responsibilities. Eligibility and documentation requirements are available on the DE DOE website.
