How to Renew or Upgrade Credentials
Renewal: Educators are required to complete 6 semester hours of college credit for Renewal of a license. Educators have the option to renew through a Professional Growth Plan (PGP) set up through the IN Licensing Verification Information System (LVIS).
Upgrade: Educators may be eligible for salary increases for coursework and advanced degrees earned within their certification field. Educators should contact their specific school districts for details about salary schedules and requirements.
