How to Renew or Upgrade Credentials

Renewal: Educators who have only a bachelor’s degree are required to complete 160 professional development points including 80 points from college credit from an approved program or provider for <b>Renewal</b>. Educators who have earned a graduate degree are required to complete 120 professional development points awarded by a KS local PD council or 8 college credit hours in an approved program for renewal. Educators who have earned a graduate degree have limited options to renew based on accredited experience. Educators should review the website for program approval requirements.
