How to Renew or Upgrade Credentials
Renewal: Educators with a 5-year Standard Educator License are required to complete at least 5 professional development/renewal credits for renewal. These credits can be college coursework, PTSB approved workshops, or National Board certification credits. Credits should be related to the licensure field.
Upgrade: Educators may be eligible for salary increases for graduate degrees earned within their licensure field. Educators should contact their specific school districts for details about salary schedules and requirements.
